Networking & Wi‑Fi

Wi‑Fi designed for reliable coverage in the rooms you use. Wired connections where they matter. Equipment that does not need a weekly reboot.

Almost everything in your home or business now depends on the network: TVs, cameras, phones, laptops, smart devices, and the home office. When the network is weak, everything on it feels broken.

We design, configure, and troubleshoot networks for homes and small businesses across Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent, from a single dead zone to a complete UniFi setup with separate networks for guests and smart devices.

How the connections fit together

Wired connections can serve fixed equipment such as a desktop computer, a TV, or a camera recorder, and they connect the Wi‑Fi access points. Where those access points belong depends on the layout of the space and how it is used.

Example network: Internet to router to switch, then a wired computer and a Wi‑Fi access point. The access point connects a phone and a smart-home device wirelessly.
Example arrangement. The equipment and layout vary by property, and this diagram does not predict Wi‑Fi coverage.

In the diagram, solid lines are wired Ethernet connections and dashed lines are Wi‑Fi.

Personal devices, smart-home equipment, and guest devices can use separate networks, with access rules controlling how they communicate. The right arrangement depends on what needs to connect.

Not every home needs every piece shown. A router, switch, and access point are often combined in one unit, and the equipment we recommend depends on your space and your devices.

Problems we help with

  • Router and access-point placement, including interference
  • UniFi design and configuration

How it works

  1. Tell us what is happening.
  2. Simple fixes get a visit or a remote session. Coverage problems usually start with an assessment of your space and devices.
  3. We design and configure the network, then test it in the rooms where you actually use it.
  4. You get the passwords, plain-language documentation, and ongoing help if you want it.
